5 TIPS: How to get rid of a cold!

Hi guys!

It's the time again... when everyone is getting sick
and yes including myself.

Something I hate the most is being forced to stay home and do-nothing when you obviously would have a ton of things to do.

Most of these are really simple and most of you guys know these already but sometimes it's good to look again at what is important.
(Painkillers are not mentioned.)

Well, here is my and some other bloggers/vloggers tips and tricks on
HOW TO GET RID OF A COLD!

1. WATER

Thought I'd state the most obvious first ;)

DRINK A LOT OF WATER.

Normally you would need to drink 2-3 litters of water per day (depending on if you are a guy or a gal) but when you are sick you really need to get those toxins out of you and keep your whole body hydrated for it to fight the cold.

2. TEA

MAKE YOUR OWN SUPER TEA!

Ingredients like lemon, ginger, honey, cayenne pepper are great to mix into your tea or even just to add some of those ingredients into hot boiled water! Make your own mix for your personal taste!

Lemon: rich source of vitamin C
and helps to flush out the toxins.
Ginger: boosts up the metabolism.
Honey: antibacterial. Helps with sore throat.
Cayenne pepper: helps to move the mucus out of your body.

3. SOUP

MAKE A DELICIOUS SOUP!
My recipe:

Boil water.
Add broccoli and cauliflower.
Then add cubed onion and sliced garlic.
Little bits a ginger and chili ( if you like ).
Let it boil for a while and eat away!

Not only is this delicious but it's also good for you. You can eat it as much as you like 'cause it's basically just veggies and water :D Add spices that you like but remember GARLIC! It has a lot of nutrients in it and those are gonna fight the cold.

4. NASAL IRRIGATION

TWICE A DAY!

Fill the "horn" with a quite warm water and mix a bit sea salt in. Then just clean your nose holes one by one :D
I still suggest you read the instructions carefully when you do this  by yourself!

This is also good for preventing a cold. If you don't have this wonderful little thing in your house --> GET IT NOW! It will open up your nose, get the mucus out and help you breath more easily. The sea salt acts as an eliminator of the bacteria.

Water and sea salt are a good mix if you are having a sore throat  as well--> just gargle those two in your mouth for a while and spit all of it out. It will also have antibacterial effects in your mouth.

5. VITAMINS

EAT FRUITS, VEGGIES AND BERRIES OR TAKE A PILL!

I'm the worst when it comes to eating fruits. If you know me at all you know that I don't eat fruits... I'm learning so STOP JUDGING THERE! But that is why I take a lot of vitamin pills when I'm sick. Specially zinc tablets. I usually start my morning with a multivitamin fizz drink and then throughout the day I will take all other vitamins and TRY to eat for example blueberries and grapes.

Those were all my tips for this time
and here's some other cool tricks from youtube!

Yeah it's cold | OOTD

Hi guys!
WAZZAAAP!??!

A new outfit post yay! I'm literally freezing in these photos.
"Why are you freezing? Don't you have a winter coat or something?" you might wonder.

No. I don't.
Shit.

If you remember my grey coat? Yeah the one on my banner! :D
I've been wearing that since November and I love it but I'd like to try something different to time to time.
You know this feeling right?
Pencil skirt: Veromoda
Blouse: Veromoda
Necklace: Pieces
Black jacket: ONLY
Denim jacket: Levis
Sneakers: Nike
Been loving these babes ever since I got them from London!
If you wanna play around a bit you might as well try what I did-->
Take warm coat that is tight fitted and then put an oversize one
( or one that is a tiny bit larger than the other one) on top of that! Really easy but makes a whole lot of difference on your whole outfit!
